I’m sure you were asleep, but was anything picked up on 12/10 around 2:00-2:30AM? There were a lot of marked cars and at least one chopper around 16th Ave E this morning.
You heard a response to a Lowjack activation on an apparently stolen 2006 Lexus RX-330 SUV.
The signal was originally picked up by King County’s Guardian 1 helicopter, but they couldn’t get too close due to the tall TV towers near Madison. SPD patrol officers responded and found it unoccupied in a Group Health parking lot near 16th & E. John.
K9 officers declined to try and establish a track on the thieves.
Where was Key Bank security? (Maybe that’s who called 911?)
