Here’s a few things to check out on what looks to be a crisp fall weekend:
10:00am Saturday – It’s time for the quarterly Squire Park Community Council meeting. Note the changed location at the CAMP firehouse on 18th.
10:00am – 2:00pm Saturday – Attention gardeners: A group of neighbors are having a plant exchange in the parking lot at 20th & Union. Have something in your yard you’re tired of? Dig it up and trade up to something better. Or go in empty handed and come out with a whole new set of landscaping.
4:30pm – 8:30pm Saturday – The Bottleneck (a CDNews sponsor) is hooking up with the uberdelicious Skillet for their 2nd Annual Hillside Harvest Feast. Should be a deliciously fun way to kick off our wetter, cooler, and darker seasons.
7:00pm & 9:30pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Central Cinema (a CDNews sponsor) is showing a NYTimes-recommended documentary on Lee Atwater, the negative-campaigning mastermind that got George H.W. Bush into office.
