The weather this weekend is supposed to be really nice for late October, so get out and enjoy it with a nice walk around the neighborhood or maybe down to the lake. I also hear that the fall colors at the Arboretum are fantastic right now.
Here’s some other fun events you might want to check out:
Friday – 6:00pm – Midnight Central Cinema (a CDNews Sponsor) is hosting films from the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, including The Last Guy You’d Have Figured (6pm), The World Unseen (7:30pm), and Friends & Lovers: Ski Trip 2 (9:30pm)
Chicks Play Hard – Saturday 11:00am – 4:00pm – Parents with daughters age 9-13 will want to check this out. They want to empower young girls with fun activities like rock climbing, song writing & recording, and more.
MezzaLuna’s Sunday Brunch – Sunday 9:00am – 3:00pm – We’ve all wished for a regular breakfast spot in the CD, and now one is getting started. Check out MezzaLuna on Sunday and report back on the deliciousness.
Spooktacular Trivia – Sunday 7:00pm – 8:30pm – The Bottleneck (a CDNews sponsor) is having a Halloween special version of their trivia night. Settle into a good beverage and show your neighbors how darn smart you are.

We were there for the first Sunday Brunch. It was pretty good for first day of breakfast service, but be aware that it is cash only still at the moment and not a cash machine very near by! Fortunately it is afforadably priced and we had enough cash, but didn’t notice the sign until after ordering. Its good to have a place in the neighborhood.
