Join the Page Turners Book Club for Kids at the Douglass-Truth Library!
This fun book group for youth ages 9 to 12 meets every third Tuesday of the month from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a discussion of great books and yummy snacks. You can pick up a copy of this month’s book at the Douglass-Truth Library at 2300 E. Yesler.
The book for Oct. 21 is “Coraline” by Nail Gaiman, a spooky story just in time for Halloween! Looking for excitement, Coraline ventures through a mysterious door into a world that is similar, yet disturbingly different from her own, where she must challenge a gruesome entity in order to save herself, her parents, and the souls of three others.
November’s book is “The Westing Game” by Ellen Raskin and January’s book is “The Devil’s Arithmetic” by Jane Yolen. (There’s no meeting in December.)

All events and programs at The Seattle Public Library are free and everyone is welcome!
My 10 year old would love to do this but elementary school doesn’t get out until 3:10 PM! Are you sure the time is correct?
Would also love a ‘virtual tour’ of our library and the many programs the community can participate in.
