The reopening celebration for Garfield High School will be held Friday and Saturday, September 26 and 27, 2008. These are the new dates for the event. Events are not planned for Sunday.
We should know this since we live across the street, but we haven’t heard anything recently about when the field/track will be done and the public can go on it. I assume it will be complete by the time school starts, but it’s hard to tell.
I live around the corner from you and bike by there everyday- what i can’t figure out is: Where are they going to put the stands for the football field????
There will be two sets of bleachers on the west side of the field.
