Toeblister’s CD Eats thread was a big hit, so we decided to launch a new feature in beta on the site: restaurant and other business reviews.

I got things kicked off with two listings for Ezells and Catfish Corner. The rest is up to you. First, browse through the reviews page and see if someone else has already added your favorite spot. If not, go up to the post tab and choose “Post A Review”. Enter as much information as you know, and be sure to select a neighborhood from the map at the bottom of the page. Then once the business is posted anyone can go and add their own review and rating of that business.

If you’re a business owner, look for the checkbox towards the bottom of the post page where you can claim it as your own and be listed as such on the review page.

And it’s not necessarily limited to food reviews. We’re starting off with 3 categories: restaurants, bars, and coffee. But if you’re passionate about a plumber, roofer, or dog walker, go ahead and add it under the Other category and use the tags to create your own category. We’ll create some new categories as things like that reach a critical mass.

Please remember that this feature is in beta, which means there may be a few bugs that we haven’t found yet. But please be patient and let us know if you have any problems.
