Neigbhors in the CD were shocked to hear a truck slam into the house next door this morning around 6:30 am. A passing bicyclist saw the truck come screaming east on E. Columbia, take a hard right in the middle of the block, and tear down a driveway and into the back corner of the next house.

The driver reportedly walked away and disappeared into the neighborhood before police arrived. Evidently the truck was reported stolen earlier in the day.
