Is 2008 really almost over?  Here's today's scoop from the streets of the E. Precinct:

1:01PM - 1200 17th Ave E - Alarm - Alarm on the door of a residence
1:20PM - 900 Federal Ave E - Alarm - Alarm on the front door of a residence
2:09PM - 100 23rd Ave E - Disturbance - A man is harassing other residents, possibly paranoid/schizophrenic
3:17PM - 812 23rd Ave S - Theft - The complainant's cell phone was stolen by a man who said he had a gun. The victim followed the suspect and knows where he is now.
3:30PM - 225 Broadway E. - Shoplifting - Person in custody at Panache
4:52PM - Broadway & E. John Seattle - Eluding - Officers are behind a vehicle that had previously eluded them a few days ago. Two taken into custody.
5:19PM - 206 Broadway E - Narcotics Activity - Two males smoking drugs in the parking garage
5:32PM - 12th & E Pine - Aid - Police requesting medics to respond to E. Precinct, where there's a female in holding who's complaining about an open abscess on her "hindquarters"

Not to mention, putting that term out in the ether is reference to a woman makes for some really bad karma..
