These sunny, blue sky Seattle days almost make the wet winters worth it.  From Wednesday, June 25th:

9:39AM - 1221 E. Olive - Assault - A neighbor intentionally ran into a construction worker with his silver Audi. No injuries. Suspect is a white male in his 50s.
10:53AM - 501 23rd Ave - Disturbance - An employee at Ezell's is off his meds and acting agressive
10:55AM - 129 11th Ave E - Suspicious Circumstance - 2 suspicious males are seen looking into windows and trying doors to apartment buildings. Last seen walking westbound on John. White male, 30s, 6', black bleached hair, black jacket. Black male 35, 5' bald.
11:02AM - 20th S & S Jackson - Assault - Woman assaulted by her boyfriend. He left the scene in a white Chevy lumina
12:35PM - 2102 E. Union - Shoplifting - Man stole 2 packages of mens boxers from the lamentable convenience store on the corner. Black male, 40s, white shorts and white shirt, last seen running southbound on 20th.
12:43PM - 400 Boylston Ave E - Noise - Complaint about loud music from a neighboring apartment. Evidently a recurring issue
1:54PM - Broadway & E. Thomas - Unlicensed Art Dealing - Caller says that a man is selling art without the proper license on the SE corner of the intersection. white male, 30s, blue jeans.
2:39PM - 300 17th Ave - Burglary - And alarm went off for the kitchen door of a house. Police arrived and saw movement inside the house. No word on who was in there...
3:25PM - 1102 E. Spruce - Disturbance - Employee of Spruce St. Inn reports that there is a girl on the second floor that is screaming and threatening to kill people. Female, 17, black female, green shorts.
3:39PM - Summit & Belmont - Assault - Man was assaulted when he prevented the suspect from entering a room. Suspect is black male 45, blue cap, blue top, blue jeans. The victim is declining aid and is uncooperative with police.
3:51PM - montlake bridge - Accident - Injury accident on the Montlake bridge, blocking northbound traffic
5:42PM - Broadway & E. Jefferson - Disturbance - Report of a man at the bus stop yelling and throwing things around. Black/asian male, 30s, 6', medium build, red shirt, dark pants
5:44PM - 1722 19th Ave - Loitering - Complaint of 6 or 7 undescribed males hanging out in front of an apartment building.
5:51PM - 2800 Fairview - Family Disturbance - Female caller is having an altercation with her mother. Mental issues possibly involved

gun shots heard just before midnight Tues 6/24
6 shots were heard near 26th and Judkins (hard to tell exactly where) and police sirens about 3 min later - any news? another drive by??

No info on that one. But we are getting police reports now, so we'll keep an eye out for it (could be several days before we get that report)

Union Market has been the magnet for open drug dealing even since before the demise of the Deano's/Chocolate City corner. Any time night or day you can find people outside dealing. Most extraordinary is that that whole intersection seems invisible to the police. It is the quintessential ghetto market.
