12:31PM - 2100 S Jackson St - Threat - Student at Seattle VoTech making threats, white male
12:39PM - 1600 42nd Ave E - Alarm - Audible residential, covering master bedroom
12:46PM - 1800 26th Ave - Alarm - Audible residential
1:00PM - 200 29th Ave - Disturbance - Unknown dispute between neighbors
1:19PM - 1000 E Republican St - Disturbance - Neighbors arguing over loud music
1:49PM - 1700 17th Ave - Assault - Patient of Seattle Mental Health assaulted an employee
2:30PM - 300 32nd Ave E - Suspicious Circumstance - Man in heavy clothing entered Key Bank, wrote something down and left the buidling
2:52PM - 1200 Rainier Ave S - Assault - Man was assaulted, he is unconscious, suspect is a white male, long blond hair, beard, red shirt
2:58PM - Madrona Park - Strong-arm Robbery - Person had an iPod and bag stolen, two black males, teens, white shirt, black shirt, ran into the woods
3:02PM - Bellevue Ave and E Denny Way - Assault - Caller was assaulted by his pregnant ex-girlfriend, she threw a metal box at him and gave him a black eye, fled in a green Cadillac
3:43PM - 1500 E Union St - Disturbance - Custodian of a building wants a man removed from the property. He is scared of the man because he has red hair, white male, red hair, black clothing *gingerphobic? or gingervitis?

4:06PM - 1400 S Norman St - Disturbance - Four men riding an ATV being reckless

Hi Everyone,

I was hit by a red Chevy SUV at the corner of Rainier Ave S and S McClellan at around 11:15 this morning. I was on S McClellan crossing Rainier. The other driver pointed to the parking lot in front of the Rite Aid and drove in. I followed. When I got out of my car, he took off.

Fortunately, my 1 year old was securely strapped into her rear-facing car seat. But the back right side of my car is really messed up. (My daughter sits on that side.) If anyone see a red Chevy (pretty sure it was a Chevy) with a wrecked front/ front-left bummer (with silver paint on it), please call the cops. Or post here to let me know.

That's happened to me before. A well dressed lady in a Mercedes SUV on capitol hill sideswiped me on Broadway, then took off when I signaled her to pull onto a side street.

Never go anywhere until you've got the plate number. Snap it with your cell phone camera, real quick, THEN find someplace out of the way to exchange information.

If they take off, SPD non-emergency line is 625-5011. Anything requiring an officer is option 2, followed by option 8. But a hit and run technically counts as an emergency I think, so 911 works too. Tell the dispatcher the plate number immediately when you get on the line, that way it'll be on their tape before you forget it.

Even if you don't know the plate number, just call the police to make a report. They might not catch the guy, but at least it'll be in their statistics, and they might run into the other vehicle for something unrelated and make the connection.

ambulances
Anyone know what the call was on Norman at 28th Ave. S? There's always a group of really young unsupervised kids running around there and I'm nervous something happened to one of them.

IF IT DID NOT HAPPEN TO THEM TODAY IT WILL. WHAT WOULD YOU EXPECT TO HAPPEN TO UNSUPERVISED KIDS. PERHAPS YOU COULD EXPRESS YOUR CONCERN TO THE UNSUPERVISED KIDS PARENTS. THE PARENTS DO NOT SEEM NERVOUS ABOUT ANYTHING. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE KIDS (OBVIOUSLY) AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR NEIGHBORS PEACE AND QUIET. TAKE THEM TO THE PARK WE ALL PAY FOR THEM TO PLAY IN.

But seriously, as a former delivery driver, I totally agree with both statements.

Seems like when I was a kid, a big part of what TV, school, day care, and my parents taught me was "Don't play in the street".

When I was doing delivery work, I had kids run out in front of my car in residential neighborhoods all the time. I always managed to avoid any incidents, but usually there were no parents anywhere around. If there were parents around, they would usually scream at ME.
