Caller says he heard what sounded like two gunshots, followed by a man who came out of the house yelling and screaming. The man then went back inside and another pop was heard. Suspect described as a white male, 60-70, wearing a denim jacket and tan pants.

Caller reports hearing a single shot fired. Nothing else heard or seen. We heard this at CDNews World HQ too, but didn't sound like a gunshot to us
Officer yells over the radio "Shots fired!" He is in a foot pursuit, caught two suspects, one is unaccounted for. Another officer found a firearm at 19th and Jackson. Update: victim with a gunshot wound to the hand was located at 1800 S Lane. It is difficult to tell, but it seems like shots were exchanged between officers and the suspects, lots of confusion trying to locate officers, but all officers involved are accounted for.

Caller said he heard four gunshots, then saw four teens running away towards Pratt Park. Update: Another witness reported hearing the shots and then seeing a newer black Impala with shiny rims leaving the area

Several shots fires behind Starbucks, group of teens shooting at a vehicle. They ran behind the pharmacy towards the Red Apple. Update: suspects are Eastbound on Jackson, three black males, white striped jacket. Shell casings found and officers determined that shots were fired Southbound toward 23rd Ave hitting the WaMu, no victims have been located. Update x2: A Cadillac was somehow involved in the shooting. It fled Southbound. Police have located the empty vehicle in front of the residence where its registered and have the driver detained and several more exiting the home. Update x3: Bullet holes have been found in one of the car's windows.
Woman has been shot multiple times with a BB gun. "She says she sees one white and one brown, but doesn't know which one its coming from..." Update: officer on the scene has determined that the weapon used had to be a .17 or .22 caliber rifle from the distances involved. Resident of the apartment is telling officers that a man on the 4th floor of the building has been shooting his BB gun at people for several days. Traffic is being blocked in the area. Update: x2 One shot fired at police from the 3rd floor. Update: x3 The man has dropped his rifle off of the balcony and is coming out of the window. He is in custody and the apartment has been cleared. They are reopening the streets and checking to see if any officers have been injured. Update :x4 All officers accounted for, no injuries.

Caller reports hearing several shots fired in the area. A witness saw several juveniles run eastbound shortly after the shots were heard. Another call reports seeing a gun in the hands of one of two black males, 16, both wearing black hooded jackets and black pants.

Update x2: Witness saw one 1 male, unknown race, very dark clothing, possibly jacket or hoody, long dark pants, 5'9"-5'10", husky build. Last seen outhbound from 15th & Alder Update x3: The original call reported 3 shots heard. The witness on the scene remembers 2. Police have recovered one spent shell casing.

Original report of 5-6 shots fired in the area. Then a second call about shots fired inside a house. Update Person down with gunshot wounds. No suspect information at this time. Update x2 Witnesses report seeing a 4 door, copper-colored vehicle with 3 juveniles onboard fleeing the scene. A juvenile male was seen fleeing Northbound on foot. He is a light-skinned black male named Victor, 5'7 150, baggy clothing. The victim is conscious and alert and has a bleeding abrasion to the head. The victim's vehicle has several bullet holes. A woman in a boat reports seeing and hearing gun shots go into the water, and seeing a man standing on the shore near that area. He may have been shooting at some ducks in the water. Update: Multiple witnesses now say it was fireworks
Man is sure he heard shots coming from an adjacent parking lot. An officer was on a traffic stop in the area and heard the sound, but did not think it sounded like gun shots.
Call from a cell phone reporting shots fired. An officer in the area reports "business as usual at 23rd & Union". Last week at the EPCPC meeting, Capt. McDonagh said that the bad guys try to distract cops by calling in fake shots-fired calls.
Caller says that they saw a man fire ten rounds and then run westbound. No other calls on it so far. That's just a few blocks from CDN World Headquarters, and we haven't heard anything. The caller is an anonymous male who hung up during the call. Update: Dispatchers called the complainant back, and he said that he had loaned his phone to another man t the bus stop who said he had to make an emergency call. The guy that borrowed the phone appeared to be arabic, about 25, with a white shirt on.

Caller heard 5 shots fired in the vicinity of 19th & Jefferson. Another caller saw 2 black males in their teens and in black jackets, last seen running eastbound on Jefferson towards garfield, one in white hat & cornrows had the gun. 3 witnesses, only one saw the suspect with the gun, apparently shooting up into the air. Police are contacting two possibles southbound on 20th near Alder. Another possible at the bus stop at 18th & Jefferson.
Update: 11:26am - Witnesses are now saying the suspects were actually headed westbound Update: 11:31am - "Positive ID on the suspect with the gun". we're not clear which potential suspect they're talking about. Caller reports hearing shots fired at 28th & Jackson. Two police units were in the area and didn't hear anything. Report that there are people playing in the park, with no obvious sign of alarm. Apparently a false complaint.
Dark colored sedan headed northbound, black 80s 4-door
Just north of Yesler. Subjects headed eastbound from 27th & Fir. Another witness says eastbound on Alder from MLK. (i was on the phone when this happened, so I missed the original call. Not sure exactly what's going on yet. But it's evidently pretty serious based on the number of units and the tenor of the radio). Police have stopped 2 possible suspects at 31st & Alder (turned out to be a negative match). Suspects are two black males, 26, one in black jacket blue jeans. One with the gun had red baseball hat, blue jacket, jeans. Weapon is some sort of short-barrel shot gun or a rifle, 3 feet in length. Update: 3:18pm - Evidently there's limited evidence of a shooting. Most officers are being sent off to other things

4 black males, approx. 15 years old, run northbound through the Walgreen's parking lot. Shell casings found in front of the bus stop.
Reports of shots fired in the area. Two people seen running in opposite direction of where the shots came from. No description of suspects. Update: Individuals were running in an alley, but language difficulties are preventing dispatch from getting any more specifics from the caller. Police contacted other citizens in the area who said they didn't hear anything.
