Join us for a conversation about the current Books on the Bus selection, Parable of the Sower, by speculative fiction icon, Octavia Butler. Award-winning local writer Nisi Shawl will lead the discussion. She’ll also share more about Ms. Butler’s life, her adventures on King County Metro buses, and her contributions to the community.
Light refreshments will be served. We’ll also have a few free copies of Parable on hand–available on a first come, first served basis.
