King County Sheriffs had a lane of traffic on 23rd Ave blocked near Columbia St the afternoon as they pursued a suspect who fled officers on foot.
Officers on the scene had one man in handcuffs, and Seattle Police were heavily patrolling nearby streets.
We are working to get more details.
At one point sheriffs and SPD had a house on that block surrounded, and later took someone into custody. No idea what lead up to that, though. A little frightening to see so many officers with assault rifles out.
