37th District Legislators Town Hall, this Saturday - Update: Not happening

Joanna, I just wanted to let you know that the 37th District legislators are not having a town hall on Feb. 18. I'm not sure how the misinformation got out there about this. I would appreciate it if you would remove this post. We will be having a town hall soon, and I'll notify you when it is scheduled.

Most legislators were holding town halls last Saturday. I am not sure why the 37th was not. It was only in Olympia on Friday that I learned there were none in the 37th. Thank you to those who made sure that this notice was updated. My information came from organizations from LEV and UW Impact other groups who encourage citizens to attend the town halls put on by legislators.
Earlier I had received one that indicated the New Holly Gathering Place and did not post it since the time was not yet available: Rep. Eric Pettigrew

The next ones announced:Saturday, February 18th at 11am. Senator Adam Kline, Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos, and Representative Eric Pettigrew will be hosting the town hall at Garfield Community Center, 2323 East Cherry Street in Seattle, WA

Apologies for the confusion around this town hall. We never planned on having one this year, the short session made scheduling difficult for the three legislators. Unfortunately, last year’s press release was picked up and spread far and wide.

When we schedule and plan a town hall, we will send out a post card to the homes in the 37th district.
