Happening Now: Madrona Street Festival

You couldn’t ask for better weather for a street fair than today. We just took a stroll along 34th to check out the offerings at the Madrona 34th & Union Street Festival – see photos below.

The festival runs until 6pm today, so there’s still plenty of time to swing by. Don’t miss the Street Treats dessert truck in the Amara parking lot at 34th and Union!

From outside Bottlehouse, where 80s cover band Squirrel of Shame was rocking out:

Buggy’s sidewalk sale:

Lysle from Wilridge Winery offering tastings.

The glassmakers from glassbaby are selling their non-votive glasswear.

Madrona Alehouse has discounts on food and beer.

The viola-flute duo, Somebody’s Something, on the corner of 34th and Spring.

Clothing from Cupcake Royale on deep discount.

Newly opened store Nena was doing a brisk business.

The Amara parking lot has tents set up for local businesses.

The Street Treats truck is dishing cookies, ice cream and make-your-own ice cream sandwiches.
