12:33PM - 233 Broadway E. - Disturbance - Transient screaming at people on the street
1:06PM - 7th & Pike - Suspicious Circumstance - Man dragging a complete bicycle rack behind himself up Pike
1:14PM - Martin Luther King Jr. Way & S. Dearborn - Animal Control - A peacock (?!?!) is running in and out of traffic
1:34PM - 410 Broadway - Assault - @seattlecrime says Assault/w weapons call is a stabbing of a 31 y/o female.
Update: HMC says they may have the suspect in the building. White male, 250, 40s, 6' tall, hooded gray sweatshirt, bluejeans
Update x2: Sounds like police have a suspect in mind
1:38PM - 208 25th Ave E. - Trespassing - Someone trespassing on a property threatened to hit the complainant with a hammer
2:46PM - 27th & E. Pike - Suspicious Circumstance - Man sitting in a maroon vehicle with small child. Man was seen sitting in vehilce at same location yesterday
2:47PM - 400 23rd Ave - Trespassing - Garfield security wants 3 non-students removed from the property
3:01PM - 2101 S. Jackson - Threat - Mother telling school officials that she can't be trusted to not harm her child
3:34PM - 325 9th Ave - Shoplifting - Adult male stole from the hospital gift shop
3:49PM - 2400 S. Jackson - Disturbance - Man refusing to leave the area in front of Walgreens
3:51PM - 1500 10th Ave - Narcotics Activity - Four subjects smoking the crack in the alley
4:44PM - 2323 E. Cherry St. - Suspicious Circumstance - Several males trying to cut through bicycle locks with a handsaw
4:53PM - 500 E. Thomas St. - Harassment - Neighbor vs. neighbor
4:55PM - 1600 13th Ave - Assault - Two males beating up on a 3rd in the hallway of an apartment building
5:01PM - Bellevue & E. Pine - Wires Down - Bus wire down on the ground, blocking traffic. 30 min eta for Metro to come fix
6:24PM - 1100 18th Ave - Noise Complaint - Loud music coming from a parked vehicle. Recurring issue
7:59PM - 2500 E. Cherry - Burglary - Looks like two males are trying to break in to the snack shop at the park
Update: Two detained
8:11PM - 600 Summit Ave E - Disturbance - Pizza driver yelled ethnic slurs at a cab driver
9:00PM - 1100 18th Ave - Noise Complaint - Caller's aggravation is increasing over noise coming from a red SUV. Told the call taker that he might get a gun and solve the problem himself
9:01PM - 11th & E. Howell - Property Damage - Man seen "tearing pipes" in Cal Anderson Park
9:03PM - Martin Luther King Jr. Way & E. Yesler Way - Shots Fired - Caller reports hearing about 5 shots in the area
Update: There was a second call on this, describing them as "muffled". Officers responded but found nothing
9:32PM - 300 29th Ave - Shots Fired - Two new reports of several shots heard in the last few minutes
9:59PM - 1400 30th Ave - Prowler - Residents heard a noise on the north side of their home
Update: Resident heard a knock at the door, then a boom in the back

Peacock!
Last year, my friends down in Rainier Beach had a peacock show up in their yard (granted they have a really big, nice backyard - so I can't really blame the peacock) and kind of refused to leave. Then the news crew and some sort of fish and wildlife person showed up and the peacock took off. The word from the authorities is that some people will keep them as pets and the birds either sneak out/break free or they are abandoned by owners who have changed their minds about owning really (really!) loud birds.

So what happened to the peacock? We're dying to know. (Not the one at your friend's house, the one in the street yesterday. Poor thing.)

shots fired
We're around 20th & Yesler and I believe we heard both sets of shots fired calls, but at the time, we dismissed them as some distant pounding. Seems to be a lot of that going on tonight.

We live just off the corner of E Cherry and 21st, and also heard the two instances where shots appear to have been fired. I took a quick check outside, and found several of my neighbors also outside and worried about the noise. As noted, we have also been worried about the possible increase in these random gun shots.

Sounders?
The Sounders match ended at 9:30ish and they set off some pretty good sized fireworks?
