From a rainy Monday in November:

11:25AM - 1400 32nd Ave S - Burglary - Person arrived home after being gone for just a couple of hours to find signs of a forced entry
12:48PM - 2012 E. Yesler Way - Rousting - Request to move along 10-20 transients camped out (Nickelsville?)
Update: This appears to be a call from a neighbor, and police are trying to verify with the church that the camp is still welcome on church property
12:58PM - 700 Bellevue Ave E - Burglary - Boyfriend took items from his ex's apartment
1:17PM - 10th & E. Jefferson - Narcotics Activity - Three drug dealers walking eastbound
1:47PM - 23rd & E. Jefferson - Warrant Arrest - Police stopped a vehicle in the Ezells parking lot, and found a 51 year old occupant with an open DOC warrant
1:48PM - Eastlake & Roanoke - Accident - 1-car accident, cause and damage unknown
1:53PM - Broadway & E. Yesler - Reckless Driver - A black '94 Acura Integra was seen doing "a hollywood style u-turn" before heading westbound towards downtown
1:58PM - 600 Harvard Ave E. - Burglary - Forced entry to an apartment buildings. Unknown if any particular units were also victimized
4:50PM - 1400 S. Lane - Assault - Intoxicated male assaulted someone at Goodwill, and although he's in custody, it's "not yet under control"
4:58PM - 2323 E. Cherry - Trespassing - An intoxicated man holding a wine bottle is harassing people at Garfield Community Center, refusing to leave
5:33PM - 5602 15th Ave NW - Bank Robbery - At frontier Bank. No bags taken, but the suspect did take a dye pack
6:39PM - 600 37th Ave - Suspicious Circumstance - Man reports that his neighbors aren't home, but two guys have pulled a trailer up to the garage and are loading a piano into it. Two white males, one in flannel, one in a pull-over
8:22PM - 1600 E. Marion - HVAC - A chronic caller told 911 there was a problem with her heating duct.
9:07PM - 1100 25th Ave E - Suspicious Circumstance - Caller just had someone knock on her door and ask if she was afraid of him
10:37PM - 2400 24th Ave E - Burglary - A man who previously reported a prowler in his yard now hears noises inside his house, and thinks someone has broken in. An officer says that this may be a known older woman with mental issues who thinks that she lives there.
Update: 11:26pm She's back... Man reports that the woman is back, trying to get into his garage
11:25PM - 15th E. & E. Denny - DUI - A man drove his 90' Jeep Cherokee into a dumpster at the 7/11, then into a fence.

I'm sure there's some meaning behind the new huge colored circles, but...
...they make it impossible to know at a glance if anything went down near my house now. They cover too much of the map and hide the streets and intersections. :O(

just hit zoom in on the map...they dont cover the side streets then

A color key is missing, that's for sure, but I wish the circles would go back to about 10px wide. :O) Then we could still see the incident color AND the street layout.

color dots
scott - is it possible to add a color legend to or somewhere near the maps as part of the police scanner page so we can at a glance see what type of activities are happening where before zooming and clicking in further? thank you!
