Reminder: Community forum on officer's murder tonight

There's a lot of community concern about the "assassination" of one of our neighborhood's police officers this past Saturday night.

Tonight is your chance to get together with other neighbors to discuss the situation and the community's response to it.

It starts just a bit before 8pm at the Central Area Senior Center at 500 30th Avenue South in Leschi.

The Seattle School Board recognized both officers tonight as both had a connection to West Seattle Schools. There was moment of silence for Officer Brenton. Steve Sundquist, the Director representing West Seattle, led the moment of silence.
