CDNews Police Scanner - 10/30

Apologies for the late start - it's a go-go-go end of the month Friday. Here's the scoop:

1:50PM - Rainier S. & S. Dearborn - Weapons Call - A man was "menaced" by another man armed with a 6" buck knife b/m 50s, 6'1", black/white plaid shirt, black pants
2:48PM - 1500 40th Ave - Alarm - On a residence
3:58PM - 24th S. & S. Charles - Weapons Call - At 3:37pm: Passerby saw 4 males in a fight, armed with handguns. Three left in a vehicle southbound, the fourth left on foot. Black male 17-25 years old.
Update: The fight started at Parnell's.
Update x2: Vehicle spotted at 28th & Dearborn
Update x3: One bailed out of the car. Black male, red puffy jacket.
Update x4: Police found the red puffy jacket in a backyard. That suspect is running between houses, jumping fences
Update x5: Another involved party found with a bloody face at 17th & Jackson. Officer asking for gang units to respond

Hi Scott, could you post a key with the maps that explains what the new colored dots mean. The colors seem like they should relate to something.

Red - violent crime
Purple - sex crime
Off white - alarm
Black - drugs
Aqua - medic response
Grey - motor vehicle accident
Light Blue (looks a lot like the aqua) - property crime
Green - Financial Crime
Dark Tan - Peace Crime
Berry - "assistance" - seems like anything the fire department is sent out on that isn't a fire
Yellow/tan - fire

I think I got all of them.... all I can say is WOW - our emergency services folks seem to be kept quite busy...
