The beat from the streets of Seattle's East Precinct on another gorgeous fall day:

10:06AM - 23rd & Spruce - Accident - Vehicle accident with injuries. Expect traffic delays
11:00AM - 1600 29th Ave - Burglary - Resident arrived home to find a busted-in back door. She's waiting for police to arrive before entering
11:40AM - Boyer & E. Hamlin - Theft - Man spotted stealing gas from a boat. White male, late 20s, 5'10", 200, unshaven, wearing a cream cap, grey short sleeved shirt, cream colored shorts
12:20PM - 1500 E. Spruce - Disturbance - Customer is in an argument with a moving company over an agreed-upon price. Possibly the old "yeah, we'll give you your stuff. But it's gonna cost you a little something extra" trick?
1:08PM - 200 Broadway E. - Trespassing - A man keeps coming into a store and trying to sell his own products to the store's customers
1:15PM - 900 24th Ave - Prostitution - Female soliciting, barefoot
1:25PM - 11th & Pine - Fire - Telephone pole on fire. "Spreading pretty quick".
Update: Appears to be arson
1:54PM - 400 10th Ave - Assault - One resident of a transitional housing facility assaulted another
2:13PM - 1200 E. Alder - Threat - Staff at a south-end school say that a car with six teenagers is headed to the CD to confront some rival gang members
2:54PM - 23rd & E. Spring - Public Dumping - A man is taking garbage bags out of a van and dumping them in the planting strip. Black male, 50s
3:34PM - 1500 E. Jefferson - Suspicious Circumstance - Man going up and down the street and entering people's backyards. He says he's looking for a dog. White male, 40s, blonde hair
4:15PM - 2500 E. Miller - Disturbance - Man bitten by a neighbor's dog
4:43PM - 700 17th Ave - Burglary - Signs of a forced entry
5:23PM - Boylston & E. Howell - Narcotics Activity - Man injecting a female with the drugs. White male, white female, 20s
5:39PM - Broadway & E. Republican - Assault - Woman assaulted by a larouchebag protester

I heard a series of gun shots last night and speeding cars at 4:00 AM.

We had a technical snafu with the scanner last night, so we're short on information on that. The good news is that the 911 page is clear of any assault aid calls, so at least no one was hit.

Incident on Saturday at Judkins Park
Do you know what happened at Dearborn and 20th place during the peewee football game on Saturday around 4 pm? About 6 cop cars showed up and went into the park with guns drawn, ended up arresting 2 or 3 guys.
