From Seattle's East Precinct, Tuesday, February 24th, 2009

11:46AM - 1401 Broadway - Aggresive Panhandler - Man is harassing customers in the QFC parking lot, white male, 20s
12:00PM - 300 Broadway E - Disturbance - Intoxicated man is yelling, white male, 30s, shaved head
12:26PM - 400 E Pine St - Assault - Man punched a woman in the face and now they are walking away together, white male, 30s, baseball cap, black shirt white female, heavy set, black clothing
12:40PM - 23rd and E Spruce St - Family Disturbance - Caller says her boyfriend locked her out of the house.
1:06PM - 900 E Pine St - Disturbance - Secondhand report that a man with a knife tried to stab someone at International Student Center. Security has been unable to find the suspect and no further info is available.
2:09PM - Broadway and E Denny Way - Hazard - Man in a wheelchair blocking traffic in the intersection
2:18PM - 1400 S Lane St - Shoplifting - Person in custody at QFC
3:47PM - 1400 E Aloha St - Disturbance - Man is banging on doors, yelling "Where is she?", white male, late 20s, beard
3:53PM - 1700 E Aloha St - Disturbance - Man tried to get in a DHL truck and drive off unsuccessfully, white male, cream jacket, dirty blonde hair
5:10PM - Summit and E Thomas St - Narcotics Activity - Dudes selling
6:07PM - 1401 Broadway - Shoplifting - Man in custody at QFC

where do i get a scanner...i am interested in listening to the east and west precinct on the weekends

Instead of spending money on a scanner, just listen to Komo's. They have all channels, but you'll hear East too. If you do want to buy one, Amazon has some cheap ones. The official scanner of Central District News is the Uniden BC 246T... it works.
