You may have seen the signs for a haunted house at 26th and Fir. I
just stopped by and found a big crew working furiously on the scary
scene.
The theme is “Cirque du Scaree” – a circus theme featuring frightening
clowns. The owner said they’ve been doing this for 10 years, and this
one is shaping up to be the scariest yet.

totally legit! They said they’ve been good-naturedly scaring neighborhood kids for years.
I didn’t ask about cost (bad reporter!), but I assume it is free.
good to know – thank you! there’s a church right around there and I thought that it might be one of those “hell house”-style, christian haunted houses.
I KNOW this is somewhat off topic, but it does have to do with the NYC Village Holloween Parade. I heard an interview with these women last night, and as a BIG fan of Ferris Bueller, I think this is a HOOT! Bring ’em to the Seafair Parade.
