CDNews Police Scanner - 10/27

From yet another gorgeously sunny October day in Seattle's East Precinct:

1:22PM - 1401 Broadway - Shoplifting - Adult male without ID in custody at QFC
1:43PM - 500 Summit Ave E - Alarm - Alarm on the front door of a residence, has been holding for 2 hours(!)
2:46PM - 665 23rd Ave - Fraud - Clerk received a counterfeit $10 bill from a customer, a heavy-set asian female, about 16 years old.
3:03PM - 1101 33rd Ave - Threat - A student at Madrona Elementary has threatened to kill his father. It's not known if he has any weapons, but he's refusing to let school staff look in his bag and is becoming very agitated (i don't remember having that much control at my elementary...)
3:12PM - E. Lake Washington Blvd & Montlake Blvd E - Disturbance - Male & female pair are panhandling in between traffic lanes. Caller thinks they'll be injured. White male, 40s, white female, 55.
3:13PM - Broadway & E. Pine - Property Damage - A man is painting something onto the sidewalk with a stencil. White male, 6', 20s, gray hat, black tshirt
3:48PM - 1405 25th Ave - Disturbance - A "known crack addict" is outside yelling, screaming, and banging on things, disturbing the caller's grandmother. He's a black male, 50s, purple hat, white shirt. The caller is making threats to go outside and administer some justice himself if police don't arrive soon.
4:15PM - 211 Broadway E - Shoplifting - Adult female in custody at Trendy Wendy
4:24PM - 417 13th Ave E - Rousting - Several males have set up camp in a community garden. The last time they were contacted, one displayed a large knife and drug paraphernalia. White male 29, 5'10", slender build, goatee
4:36PM - 1720 12th Ave - Property Damage - A man tore down the large chalkboard menu in front of People's Republic Koffee. White male, 75.
5:02PM - 900 18th Ave - Theft - The caller had several suitcases on the balcony. She saw someone drive up in a black Acura Integra and take off with the suitcases.
5:22PM - 1800 E. Yesler Way - Missing Children - Two kids never returned home from Leschi Elmentary. Both are 9 years old, no sign of them on school property.
5:24PM - 500 26th Ave S - Family Disturbance - A juvenile was thrown out of his house, and he says his parents threw rocks at him as he was leaving.
5:25PM - 1400 S. Lane - Shoplifting - Adult male in custody at Goodwill
5:29PM - 28th S & S Jackson - Fight - Group of males fighting, two of them had guns that they were waving around. One group is walking northbound, 2 with guns, black males some with red and some with white tshirts.
Update: Officers arrived but couldn't find the suspects in the area
5:41PM - 23rd S & S. Jackson - Disturbance - An officer has seen two males arguing & pushing and shoving on the SW corner of the intersection. Must be frequent flyers - the cops knew them by name

The 3:48 call....
Sometimes a little Justice administering is appropriate! The guy that threatened to do it would handle the situation perfectly and I believe no one would have seen a thing if asked about it. No, it's not me....
