From Seattle's East Precinct - Monday, July 28, 2008

10:07AM - 2000 S King St - Disturbance - Caller says her stepfather, whom she has a restraining order against, is at her home. The call was prematurely cut-off.
10:34AM - E. Allison & Harvard Ave E - Fight Disturbance - Two men are in a fight on the street, and one of the two is armed with a knife. The armed one is an hispanic male in his 20s, thin build, dark-curly hair, light purple shirt, dark pants. The other party is a white male in a black shirt, with a bike. Update: The suspect got into a black vehicle and left the scene northbound across the University bridge. There may be a second witness following the suspect. Update: x2 No north-precinct units were available to help find the suspect. The witness who was following them was advised to stop, which they did. The suspect vehicle was last seen westbound on NE 40th, approaching Stone Way N. The suspect vehicle is registered to an address in Langley, WA.
10:50AM - 500 26th Ave S - Missing Woman - An alzheimer's patient walked away from her house. Black female, brown pants, red shirt
11:24AM - 3219 W. McGraw - Hold-up Alarm - Silent hold-up alarm at a bank in Magnolia
11:59AM - 24th E & E. Lynn - Suspicious Circumstance - Caller believes a subject in a vehicle was casing the neighborhood. Light colored cadillac, no description of driver
12:07PM - 24th & E. Pine - Suspicious Circumstance - Caller heard a woman in a vehicle yell at someone to "get off of her". She than got out and ran westbound and the vehicle chased her. Vehicle is a blue newer Volkswagen. Black female in her 20s in brown, baggy clothing, last seen westbound on Pine
12:44PM - Bellevue and Bellevue Place E - Disturbance - on board a metro bus. A passenger is yelling and they want her removed. White female, red hair, dark clothing.
1:21PM - 400 Melrose E - Narcotics Activity - Caller says there's several people using drugs in the stairwell of a building
1:28PM - 3000 S. Judkins - Car Prowl - A man broke into a parked car and then drove off in his own vehicle, a gold 93 honda accord, 2-door.
2:24PM - 23rd S & S. Jackson - Fight Disturbance - 7 subjects fighting one in front of the Walgreen's - no weapons seen. Witness says the fight is regarding a stolen wallet, and has moved over near the Magic Dragon. Update: Police arrived and described it as "volatile situation" with 15-20 people involved. Fire is responding to help the 18 year-old victim with a cut eye. Update x2: Suspect in the beating is described as a black male, dark skin, white tshirt, dark jeans, last seen southbound on 23rd, in possession of the wallet.
2:35PM - 600 22nd Ave E - Family Disturbance - This started as a 911 hang-up call, and when operators called back into the residence, a woman said she was in an argument with her 56 year old son. She then hung up again.
2:39PM - 23rd S & S Jackson - Stolen Vehicle - Police responding to the 23rd & Jackson spotted an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the parking lot next to Starbucks.
3:20PM - 700 12th Ave - Theft - Green pickup stole gas from the Shell station
3:36PM - 21st & E. Union - Narcotics Activity - no details...
4:02PM - 25th S. & S. Jackson - Fight Disturbance - Caller sees several females in a physical fight. No weapons seen. Black females, one 18, one in her 30s, and one in her 20s.
5:03PM - 600 Pine St. - Robbery - Bank robbery at WAMU branch. Suspect is a white male, 40s. A weapon was implied but never seen
5:17PM - 23rd & Cherry - Theft - Somebody stole gas from the AM/PM. Vehicle is a gray jeep liberty, left southbound
5:49PM - 28th S. & S. Jackson - Warrant Arrest - Police out with a possible warrant suspect. Update: 4 open warrants confirmed - 3 from Seattle and 1 from Kent. Suspect taken into custody
6:28PM - Foster Island - Exposer - Man seen masturbating near the Foster Island access road. White male, 60s, no shirt, blue shorts
6:29PM - Broadway E .& E Harrison. - Weapons Call - Caller was panhandled by a male and female on the corner, and noticed that the man had a switchblade, but he wasn't doing anything with it.

Certainly is at 23/Cherry (see 5:17). Stealing from another customer?

I wonder if that's the couple that was aggressively panhandling along Broadway last week. Assuming I didn't speak English when I ignored them, they followed me for half a block muttering racial slurs.
