It's Tuesday:
10:46AM - 15th & E. Alder - Shots Fired - Witness says black male, black jacket, red shirt. Last seen eastbound. Other black male teenager northbound, blue/gray multicolored jacket with the hood up. Witness saw another suspect go behind 213 15th Ave. Another seen walking towards Spruce St. to the S. Witness saw the suspect put gun in his waistband. One police unit has 3 in custody at 16th & Spruce.
Also associated - Black crown vic, southbound on 14th. Saw suspect with gun get into it. Police are behind the suspect vehicle at Rainier & Plum. Waiting for a third backup unit before they stop the vehicle. Approaching McClellan. Initiating stop at MLK & Mt. Baker. Two taken into custody from the car. Gang unit is going through the car, looking for firearms.

The 3 at 16th & Spruce say that they were the victims. But so far no reports of actual injuries or property damage. Victims say they didn't recognize anyone or see the vehicle, only saw someone in a red coat. "They're not very cooperative."

Several shell casings found at 15th & Alder.

Update: 11:58am 10th & Fir - Police spotted possible suspects in the shooting headed westbound near the original crime scene. As police approached, they took off with an officer following in a foot pursuit. Suspect held at gunpoint at 11th & Fir. The one with the red hoody & white lettering is still outstanding, ran westbound across Boren into Yesler Terrace.

Update: Heard there's a possible suspect that has been sighted at 23rd & Jackson in front of Starbucks. They have a name, and are waiting for other units to arrive that could positively identify him on sight. They made contact at 22nd and Jackson but it wasn't the guy they're looking for.
10:52AM - Boren & Jackson - Accident - One of the officers responding to the shots fired got into an accident.
12:13PM - 1401 Broadway - Man in custody at QFC. He - Man in custody at QFC. He also has an outstanding warrant.
2:10PM - Pike & Broadway - Fraud - A woman tried to cash a fraudulent bank downtown, last seen driving up Pike in a white crown vick (hmmm...) with a handicap plate. Black female, 50, associated with a white male, 50s, with a cane.
2:40PM - 10th S & S Dearborn - Suspicious Circumstance - 2 subjects walking northbound, looking in parked cars. 2 black males, 40s
2:59PM - 1510 S Dearborn - Rousting - Remove a subject who's camping out on the parking strip
4:31PM - 905 E. Pike - Shoplifting - Suspects stole some items from Retail Therapy, then left the store. But they're still outside sitting in a white jeep facing westbound outside another boutique. Note to shoplifters: you'll get the best results if you leave the area as soon as you commit your crime.
4:48PM - 14th & Yelser - Suspicious Circumstance - Saw guy get out of his car and look in the school window. He then left in his red jeep.
5:02PM - 30th & Spruce - Vehicle Theft - Caller sees his stolen white suburu, occupied. He told the man to get out and he did, started walking southbound. Black male, 5'8"-5'10", 30, with black puffy hooded jacket, black pants. The suspect isn't in a hurry - he stopped to talk to someone in a dark blue or black thunderbird before continuing southbound. Police are contacting a possible match at 29th & Washington (turns out negative). (confidential note to Crusty Cop: your every utterance on the radio fills us with joy)
5:23PM - 900 E. Cherry - Narcotics Activity - Caller reporting 3 people doing drugs in the stairwell
5:23PM - 100 14th Ave - Narcotics Activity - Multiple males and females selling drugs. One actually told the complainant that's what they were doing. Police: "it looks like they had some lookouts on the corner. Everyone went away"
5:37PM - 2000 S. Norman - Suspicious Circumstance - Neighbor came over to the caller's house and said he needed police. He then left without saying why
5:44PM - 22nd & Union - Hit & Run - Gray Mercedes left northbound. Damage will be on the rear end
7:18PM - 1500 E. Cherry - Disturbance - Caller wants her mentally ill adult son removed from her apartment. He's off his meds and causing problems. Police are waiting for AMR and a taser-equipped unit to arrive before they go in. Update: 7:57pm - ended peacefully with a voluntary commitment
7:42PM - 216 26th Ave S - Narcotics Activity - No further details
7:44PM - 24th & Madison - Property Damage - Property manager confronted two kids in an abandoned building, where it sounded like they were doing damage. They exited running northbound on 21st. 2 black males, 15-16, now eastbound on John
8:08PM - 200 26th Ave S. - Narcotics Activity - Transient is smoking weed in the caller's yard

FYI: The guy who stole my sig. others Subuaru was spotted by my sig. other who followed the guy driving HIS Subaru, the guy then got out of his car and proceded to have a conversation with another individual for 2 minutes! This all happening while on the phone with the police. What is going on here! The guy got away, of course, and our house has had two attemped burgluries post stolen car!
